Indiana at 200

Indiana at 200 BookIt’s an honor to have two of my photographs published in M.T. Publishing Company’s Indiana at 200: A Celebration of the Hoosier State.

One of the photos, a collaborative effort between Bryan Wolfe and I, is featured on the front cover of the book. It is the selectively-toned black & white photo of an Indiana Railroad engine and its cargo running alongside the snow-covered Lake Lemon.

Additionally, my name can be found on a list of contributors on their website.

Interactive Intelligence

E-Learning Specialist - October 2014 - June 2015

I worked alongside a team of instructional designers, multimedia developers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and deliver self-guided e-Learning solutions for PureCloud customers. The team was also responsible for a complete redesign of the instructor and student manuals for 19 Instructor-led classroom and web-based courses.

Spearheaded a curriculum redesign that replaced 1000+ page printed course manuals made in FrameMaker with condensed, full color, interactive PDFs created with InDesign. This eliminated the need for 36 reams of paper per class as well as the cost of toner and printer maintenance.

Researched, evaluated, and recommended necessary upgrades and replacements to the current set of authoring tools to allow transition into creating e-learning courses.

Developed and maintained blended learning courses that included interactive e-learning modules and demonstration videos using Articulate Storyline 2 and Captivate, Instructor and Student course manuals using InDesign, and job aids using Adobe Photoshop.

Created a wide range of graphics including complex diagrams, UI elements, instructional callouts, and stock images. Also created outlines, scenarios, storyboards, documentation, and voice-over scripts for video demonstrations and animated lessons.

Conducted needs assessments with project managers and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Conducted regular peer reviews with co-workers to identify and correct qualitative issues as well as suggest clarifications to overly technical information.
